Intro to GEC
• BE ON TIME, please allow yourself enough time to log on, anticipate computer resets/issues
and time to be mentally ready for your shift.
• Your camera must be ON at all times during trainings and meetings except when excused by
Trainer.
• Eat a good breakfast, drink your coffee or whatever will get you prepared and have the
energy for the day.
• Take Training Seriously. There is a lot of information to be learned, and even if you have car
knowledge this a unique environment and some processes are unique to Sonic.
• Ask Questions and Participate
• This is an open forum, and we are here to help not only you but each other and the more
organic conversations we can have the better.
• Communication is key. We don’t know what you don’t know or need help with, so share!
• Come prepared with all the learning materials you need: Paper, Pen, Sticky Notes, etc.
• Please keep in mind these are Sonics Leads that are paid for by our Dealerships and should
be cared for with integrity and professionally.
• Being in the car business things change daily. We are always in a growth mindset, so, we are
always brainstorming ideas to be better and things can change daily.
• We are a team and here to bring Sonic business. We are here to help the guest first.
• “Bring your WHY every day”. Meaning, come every day ready to work for that goal you’ve
set for yourself. Whether it’s a new car, a trip or a just a better life for you and your family.
Keep that goal in mind to keep yourself motivated.
