            Striking Tools

             Claw hammer

It is a tools with one side of the head
split and curved, used for extracting nails.

            Sledge Hammer

double-head similar to a mallet, but de-

used for driving stakes, or breaking up con-

             demolition tool.
            Ball Peen Hammer

Used primarily by engineers, the peen of
this hammer is rounded. It’s commonly
used for rounding the edges of metal pins

and fasteners, closing rivets, and shaping
metal. In past, it was a key tool used for a

fabrication method called “peening”. As a
result, it is commonly referred to as a ma-
            chinist’s hammer .
             Adjustable spanner
An adjustable spanner is a tool. It move its

jaw to rotate nuts or bolts of different sizes.

             Open end Spanner
An open end spanner, with a U-shaped
opening that grips two opposite faces of

the bolt or nut. This spanner is often dou-
            ble-ended, with a different-sized opening
at each end. The ends are generally ori-
ented at an angle of around 15 degrees

to the longitudinal axis of the handle. This
allows a greater range of movement in
enclosed spaces by flipping the spanner

             over.
