Most common wire strippers can be used
with a variety of different wire sizes.

Ring spanner:
This is a one-piece spanner with an en-
closed opening that grips the faces of the
bolt or nut. The recess is generally a six-

point or twelve-point opening for use with
nuts or bolt heads with a hexagonal shape

Sprit Level
A hand tool with curved sealed glass vi-

als containing a liquid and a bubble of
air. The glass bubbles are located paral-
lel to or at right-angle to the body of the
level to give horizontal or vertical read-

ings.
Water Level Tube
A water level is a device used for match-
ing elevations of locations that are too far
apart for a spirit level to span. The sim-
plest water level is a section of clear
tubing, partially filled with water. Water

is easily procured for use, and easily dis-
carded after use

Plumb Bob
A plumb-bob is a weight, usually with a
pointed tip on the bottom that is sus-
pended from a string and used as a
vertical reference line, or plumb-line.
