Measuring Tools
Measuring Tape

A measuring tape is a flexible form of rul-
er. It consists of a ribbon of cloth, plastic,
or metal strip with linear- measurement

markings.
It is a common measuring tool and easily
carried in a pocket.
Steel Scale
Steel scale in hardened stainless steel

with matt chrome-plated surface for anti-
glare reading. Graduated in millimeters
along the upper edge, and half millime-
ters on lower edge.
Hilti

It is an Easy-to-use checking tools for

checking the levels .Construction lasers
are used as an accurate level reference
during any layout

process. Applications include installing
ceiling tiles and levelling floors, per-
forming basic surveys, and even construc-
tion site grading.

Consumables
Chalk Piece

Chalk is a soft, white, porous substance
made up of lime.
It used for drawing on rough surfaces,
as it readily crumbles leaving particles
that stick loosely to these surfaces.

Line Thread
It is a string used for aligning bricks in a
straight line and it is also used as a chalk
line Chalk line: A string line that is cov-
ered with powdered chalk. When
stretched tight on a surface and flicked

the chalk leave a straight line on the sur-
face.
