CALL ME KASH

Call Me Kash took home the lion’s share of the cash and tallied the first stakes win of her career with a clear-cut victory in the $16,000 New
Mexico Classic Sophomore Stakes at Zia Park on Nov. 9.
With Alejandro Medellin in the irons, Call Me Kash went to the front at the break of the 400-yard dash. She dueled early with First Neon Moon and the two top wagering choices in the race battled the length of the lane with Call Me Kash, the slight favorite, prevailin by 3/4-length at the finish. Trained by Jaime Aldavaz Sr., Call Me Kash received every call and stopped the timer in :20.122, earning an 85 speed index.
It was the third win in 13 starts for Call Me Kash and the $9,360 winner’s share of the purse increased her bankroll to $52,795 for owner Leopoldo Hernandez. Bred in New Mexico by 2 Fat Ranch, Call Me Kash is produced from the unraced Thoroughbred mare Rewound and is her only starter.
Graded stakes winner First Neon Moon (First Moonflash-My Soul Mate) finished second under Mauro Salcedo. The classy 3-year-old colt is owned by Victor Lozano and is trained by Martin Orono Sr. Reporting home in third was graded stakes- placed Jess Tequila Talkin (Jesse James Jr-Wish
You Had One To) and jockey Hector Aldrete. Gary Hartstack owns the bay gelding, who is conditioned by Jackie Riddle.
Easters Regard (Chicks Regard-Jess Might Be Famous), Chick N Pot Pie (Chicks Regard-Run N Pie), Knockout Chick (Jess A Chicks-YM Chiquita), Stominado (First Moonflash-Diamonds N Rainbows), Outta Debt (First Moonflash-Jesstifiable Debt), Jess A Dasher (Jess A Chicks-The Diamond Cartel) and Cardonal (Moon Dynasty-Suzzoom) completed the order of finish.

SPEEDY PILOTO GEE

Speedy Piloto Gee utilized her best weapon— speed—to run away from five rivals and score the first stakes victory of her career with a clear-cut win in the $35,000 Opelousas Stakes-RG2 at Evangeline Downs Nov. 21.
Ridden by Juan Garcia Jr., Speedy Piloto Gee shot to the front from her cozy rail post position
at the break of the 350-yard test. She maintained
a clear advantage through the lane and despite drifting out, crossed the finish line 3/4-lengths in front of runner-up Tuckers Prize. Speedy Piloto Gee stopped the timer in :17.486, earning a speed index of 96.
Owned by Armando Vasquez Rodriguez and trained by Barbara Alcantara, Speedy Piloto Gee now has four lifetime wins to her credit and this race was her second score of 2020, having also annexed
a 300-yard allowance dash at Delta Downs in July. The $21,000 winner’s share of the Opelousas purse increased her bankroll to $80,259 and improved her overall record to 16-4(1)-4(1)-1.
Grant Farms LLC bred Speedy Piloto Gee out of winner Dominating Speed. She has produced six winners from nine starters. Speedy Piloto Gee is her first stakes winner.
Tuckers Prize (Fast Prize Dash-BB Secrets Game) and jockey J.R. Ramirez dueled gamely to secure
the place spot by a head. The gelding is owned and trained by Jourdan Preston.
Race favorite Eysa Jess Jumpn (Heza Fast Dash- Jess Jumpn) and jockey David Alvarez finished third after a slight bobble at the start. The multiple graded stakes winner is owned by Jose Estrada Quarter Horses and trained by Joel Huitron.
Barjaxs (Jess Louisiana Blue-Elealicious), Fabulously Black (Game Patriot-Fabulously Fast), and Runaway Easy Sir (Sir Runaway Dash-McM Dash Easy Girl) completed the order of finish.
Races And Aces Stakes
LOUISIANA DRESSBLUES

Wilson One Consulting’s Louisiana Dressblues rallied to win the $30,000, 870-yard Races and Aces Stakes at Evangeline Downs on Nov. 18.
Ridden by Juan Garcia Jr. for trainer Trey Ellis and sent to post as the 7-10 favorite in a field of eight distance specialists, Louisiana Dressblues defeated 14-1 longshot Masons Jet Black by a head in :46.429.
The 5-year-old gelding earned the $18,000 win- ner’s share of the $30,000 purse while scoring his fourth career stakes victory. Louisiana Dressblues has won eight of 19 races, including seven of 13 at the 870-yard distance, and he has banked $189,710.
Louisiana Dressblues, who was bred by Easy Acres Performance Horses, was coming off of a third-place finish in the Oct. 22, 870-yard Faubourg St. John Stakes at Evangeline Downs.
The chestnut gelding is out of Thoroughbred winner Charlomaine. The mare has produced 100% money earners from eight starters, including Hatainsroyalrouj TB, who finished second in the LA Bred Premier Night Starlet Stakes. Louisiana Dressblues is the first stakes winner in the brood. Louisiana Dressblues’ second dam, Missbinnhaven, is a half-sister to two stakes winners, including Whitmore’s Conn.
Masons Jet Black (Jet Black Patriot-Ruston Kitty) finished second for owner/trainer Trey Ellis. Bobby Ransom rode the homebred gelding.
Freakin Patriot Dash (Game Patriot-Freakin Dash) ran third under Ubaldo Luna, one length behind Louisiana Dressblues, and banked $3,300 for owner/trainer Joel Huitron.
His Louisiana Dream (Jess Louisiana Blue-In His Dreams), Jessi Jam (Jet Black Patriot-Royal Rio Miss), Jess Louisiana Tee (Jess Louisiana Blue-Miss Ocean Tee), No Key Needed (Azoom Me Too-Key To Your Dream) and JW Losin Control (Strong Hope-EW Comment) completed the order of finish.
