AQHA LS Distance Challenge-G3
ILLTAKEYOUFORARIDE

Illtakeyouforaride took Kelsi Purcell for a ride to the winner’s circle in the $27,676 Grade 3 AQHA Lone Star Park Distance Challenge on Oct. 3.
The gelding broke from the 1-post in fourth and quickly began to gain ground. Trained by Michael Joiner, Illtakeyouforaride secured the lead in the stretch, crossing the wire with an impressive 6 1/2-length margin.
They completed the 870 yards in :44.976, post- ing a 108 speed index. Illtakeyouforaride brought home the $13,838 winner’s share of the purse for owner Illtakeyouforaride Partnership, pushing his total bankroll to $122,183.
Ridden in California, New Mexico and Texas, Illtakeyouforaride has won seven races from 25 starts, including the Herman Jefferson Stakes and Bill Reed Memorial. He also finished third in
the King Rick Rack Stakes-G3 and Texas Classic Juvenile Invitational.
Kirk Goodfellow bred Illtakeyouforaride
out of TQHA Sires’ Cup Derby-RG3 winner Dashingfordestiny. She has produced 100% money earners from 13 starters. Illtakeyouforaride is her third stakes winner.
SW Bullet Proof (Second Painted Sign-Jazzin Shabby Chic) finished second under Jerry Yoakum for owner Jason Udy and trainer Wesley Giles. The gelding was third in last year’s Green River Stakes.
Dance The Dust Off (Coronas Blackdiamond- Magic Yard TB) showed grit coming up the lane, finishing in third place for owner Scott Warr. The James Padgett III trainee had Nakia Ramirez aboard. The gelding was a finalist in the Remington Park Distance Challenge-G2 earlier this year.
Billy Big Rock (Rock Solid Jess-Fly N Chix), The Runaway Favorite (Favorite Cartel-Viva La Blue) and Cat Daddie (Dominyun-Fee Lion) completed the order of finish. Let There Be Sound scratched.
Alex Picov Memorial Futurity

Streakinlilwagon continued her winning ways on Oct. 5 at Ajax Downs, taking the $86,918 Alex Picov Memorial Futurity by daylight to add a stakes victory to her record as a rookie.
Streakinlilwagon was easily the fastest in the futurity, breaking on top from the 3-post and grab- bing a 1/2-length lead by the first call. She doubled her advantage going into the stretch, winning wire- to-wire by 1 1/4-lengths. Trained by Jason Pascoe, the filly finished the stakes race in :19.911, register- ing a 98 speed index. Helen Vanek was in the irons.
GFR Equine Services home-bred the bay filly, who has been to the winner’s circle four times in five outs. She’s undefeated in four starts at Ajax Downs, and the $34,767 prize from this event improved her total bankroll to $48,455. The only blip on her record is in her maiden race on April 16 at Remington Park in which she went to her knees at the break and still followed through with a third- place finish.
Streakinlilwagon becomes the second stakes win- ner out of lightly raced La Jollas Fortune. The other stakes winner is half-sibling Streakinshagginwagon, another veteran of the Ontario citcuit and winner of the 2013 version of the Picov Derby.
Had To Be Relentless (Hes Relentless-Had To Be Fandango) was 2nd for Carol & Jamie Robertson, trainer Bryn Robertson & jockey Tony Phillips. Fastest qualifier AH Candyland (Jess Good Candy- Special Wave), was 3rd for Richard Wincikaby & trainer Michelle Woodley. Ismael Mosqueira was
in the irons. Americas Rocket Man (Coronado Cartel-RBI Running Moon), Memory Of Griffin (One Fabulous Eagle-Is it Memorex), Me Zoomn By (Mezoomn-Eyesa Chickin It Out), Rowdysvision, Twixt Of Fate (Streakin Six Cartel-Eyesa Quick), and Rosie Perry (Mr Jess Perry-Black Rosalita) completed the field. EC Jets Favorite was scratched.
Ontario Sires Stakes Futurity
HANOVER HILL THERESA

Hanover Hill Theresa broke her maiden in style, winning the $49,055 Ontario Sires Stakes Futurity at Ajax Downs on Oct. 19.
With jockey Cory Spataro aboard, Hanover
Hill Theresa raced in fourth position early in the 330-yard dash while odds-on favorite Bogie Wheels broke outward at the start and dueled with Jess Raven. Hanover Hill Theresa ran them both down in the lane to reach the finish a nose in front of Bogie Wheels with Jess Raven crossing the wire in third. Bogie Wheels was subsequently disqualified for interference after the start and was placed eighth, which elevated Jess Raven to the place spot and Hanover Hill Lynda promoted to third.
In winning for the first time in her three start career for trainer Joe Tavares, Hanover Hill Theresa, who was sent off at odds of 9-1, stopped the timer in :17.585.
Picov Cattle Co. bred Hanover Hill Theresa out of lightly raced Ethoria TB. She has produced 100% money earners from seven starters. Hanover Hill Theresa is her first stakes winner.
Runner-up Jess Raven (Mr Jess Tex-Leanintoit) picked up second after winning for the first time in her previous start. Jockey Brian Bell piloted the filly for owner Raven Racing Syndicate and trainer Scott Reid.
Picov Cattle Co. also owns third-place finisher Hanover Hill Lynda (Make Out Artist- Everythingperrysweet) who was saddled by Joe Tavares and ridden by Ed Walton. The filly has placed in both of her first two starts.
Whos Hot Now (Sugarman Perry-Zoomin Hot), Winning Okie (Winners Award-Chitchatin Okie), Kitsawinner (Winners Award-Kitarisa), All Outta Sugar (Sugarman Perry-All Whacked Out) and Bogie Wheels (El Night Shift-Cash Into Vegas) fol- lowed. Hanover Hill Lukas was scratched.
