MEET ME OUT BACK

In a gutsy performance, Meet Me Out Back recorded the initial stakes win of his career with a front-running victory in the
$134,003 John Deere Juvenile Challenge Championship-G3 at Horseshoe Indianapolis on Oct. 22.
Ridden by Jesus Salazar, Meet Me Out Back grabbed a short lead away from the starting gate in the 350-yard dash. He received pressure throughout, first from Ms Flaming Finish and then Extermynator in the late stages. Through it all, Meet Me Out Back was up to the challenge. The sorrel gelding fended off all challengers and held sway late to score by a head over Extermynator and jockey German Rodriguez.
“It was really a clean break,” said winning rider Jesus Salazar. “He really performed big. He’s getting better each time.”
Meet Me Out Back stopped the timer in :17.870 and earned a speed index of 92 in the
