ONE PERFECT LADY

One Perfect Lady has been a gem of consistency for her owner/breeder La Feliz Montana Ranch. The sorrel filly’s
consistency rewarded her connections handsomely on Oct. 1 at Lone Star Park after she swept to a decisive daylight score in the $426,500 Dash For Cash Futurity-G2.
With jockey Francisco in the irons, One Perfect Lady bobbled at the start but quickly forged to the lead. She dueled the length of the lane with Daddy Caliente before forging clear in the late stages to score by 1-length at the finish.
One Perfect Lady stopped the timer in :19.620 and earned a 97 speed index.
“She left perfect in front,” Calderon noted. “I felt Dean Frey’s filly (All Night Roc) making a move on her halfway there and heard James Flores coming at me and she just put it in another gear. She was on the inside where it was deeper this time and I felt like that had a lot to do with her performance today.”
