Away in a Manger Personal Refelction

When Joseph was warned in a dream
to take Jesus to Egypt, he was

protecting his family, but also fulfilling
another prophecy about the Messiah.
Jesus protects his family too. When the
disciples are caught in a terrible storm,
Jesus calms the storm.

he keeps us safe and helps us make

surprised that Jesus actually slept, but

we used this as another reminder of
Jesus being human. We need sleep to
survive. How do you find rest even in
the midst of the storms of life or hectic
holiday season?
