Silent Night Personal Reflection
Mary and Joseph fulfill the Jewish
law and therefore Jesus is purified
and pronounced “clean”. Jesus
before his crucifixion washes the
disciples’ feet making them “clean”
also. One of his last commands
here on earth is for us to wash
each other’s feet. Jesus offers
himself to death in order that we
may be made clean, he washes
away our sins.
