Q ARE ALL OF THE GROUPS FEATURED IN THE CATALOG NON-PROFITS?
A Yes. Each is an established not-for-profit organization or is affiliated with one.
Q I LIKE TO PURCHASE GIFTS THAT I CAN WRAP. IS THERE ANYTHING HERE FOR ME
A Absolutely! You will find custom-embroidered towels, hot pads, hand-beaded jewelry,
hand-made wooden comfort crosses, an assortment of useful bags and imaginative kits for
children. Using a bit of creativity, explain your monetary donation with a wrapped package or
a stocking stuffer.
Q GREAT IDEAS! NOW, HOW DO I GET STARTED? AND, WHAT IF I NEED HELP?
A Make a list of people you shop for during the holidays or throughout the year. Remember
birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, housewarmings, baptisms and people in small groups
where you gather. Gifts of Hope are perfect year-round!
Browse the catalog ahead of time. Enter 8:00 am on December 3 on your calendar as a
reminder of the time when online shopping begins.
When the online store opens, select items and enter them into the online cart.
When you’re finished, check out as usual. (Email store@flclincoln.org if you have questions
or need to pay by check. A volunteer will answer your email. Phone messages may be left
at First Lutheran Church by calling 402.488.0919.)
Q CAN I SEE ITEMS AT THE IN-PERSON MARKET?
A We would love for you to come in-person to see the items for sale! The Gifts of Hope
Market’s educational displays and in-person market will be open from 8:30 am-12:30 pm on
Sunday, December 4, at First Lutheran Church, 1551 South 70th Street in Lincoln, Nebraska.
You will find the market inside the main entrance. You are welcome to join a Sunday worship
service at 8:15 am or 10:45 am, too.
Q I DON'T LIVE IN LINCOLN. CAN YOU MAIL PURCHASES TO ME?
A Of course! Purchases in your cart can be mailed to a single address. You will be asked to
pay a $5 shipping and handling fee during checkout. Note: We are unable to mail olive oil.
Q I LIVE IN THE LINCOLN AREA. WHEN MAY I PICK UP GIFTS I ORDERED ONLINE?
A Stop by the office at First Lutheran Church, 1551 South 70th Street, Monday-Friday, 9:00
AM-4:00 PM to pick up your purchases.
