the Center for People in Need.
Consider helping with food or diaper distribution, sorting donated clothing and household
goods, supporting special holiday events.
Assume that a wide variety of people you interact with each day receive some sort of
financial help. Avoid stereotypes.
Be sensitive to widely-varying family financial situations as you plan activities and events
or consider eating out as a group activity for people of any age. Avoid placing children
and adults in positions where they need to ask program planners for financial assistance
in order to be able to participate.
