HMEL is operating a state-of-the-art grass root oil refinery of 9 Million MT/annum
capacity at Bathinda in Punjab, India, along with a Polypropylene Unit with
production capacity of 4,40,000 MT/annum, utilizing Novolen® gas-phase
technology.

HMEL's PP unit is integrated with its world-class refinery, ensuring feedstock
security at all times. HMEL produces a wide range of PP Homo-Polymers, to serve
the demand of customers for all application segments.

In addition to the World class technology, HMEL has implemented industry best
practices, in all aspects of its businesses.

Technology
Lummus Novolen Technology GmbH (Novolen) is a leader in polypropylene
technology, with worldwide licensed capacity in excess of 7 million metric tons. This
highly flexible process is reliable, versatile and environmentally friendly.
HMEL is utilizing Novolen® gas-phase polypropylene process using Ziegler-Natta
catalysts for the production of a full range of commodity and performance products
that meet the requirements of even the most demanding applications.
Distribution Channels
HMEL has set up a Pan India network of HMEL Offices, Distributors and
Warehouses to service the PP processing industry, in the most efficient manner.
HMEL services the Indian PP market through four regional offices at Noida,
Mumbai, Hyderabad & Kolkata, and seven Area Offices at Chandigarh, Kanpur,
Jaipur, Indore, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru & Chennai.
