Part III: Chapter 6 ‐ Extraordinary Leadership

and to analyze the personality profiles with the help of INSIGHTS
MDI®. With the help of the results, a matching team can be formed
whose members complement each other in their competencies
                               and personalities.
The personality profiles help the team leader in managing
people and dealing with conflicts. That's because he knows his own
profile and knows: "If I'm a dominant team leader and have
discussions with the self-determined team member, I have to
proceed differently than with the tolerant 'yes man' who tends to
conform." And when disputes arise between members, he uses
knowledge of the profiles to inspire acceptance and tolerance for
                               one another.
Since then, the composition of teams in the company has
                               proceeded as follows:

                                  1. Description of the team task and goals
                                  2. Determination of the competencies that are necessary to
                                     achieve the objectives.
                                  3. Selection of the team members, leaned at their
                                     level of competence
                                  4. Creation of personality profiles of all team members
                                     (including the team leader)
                                  5. Review of the team composition based on the profiles
                                  6. possibly make changes regarding the composition
                                  7. Team leadership, teamwork and conflict resolution using
                                     the competence and personality profiles
