1.0 GENERAL

1.1 SUMMARY

1. Section includes: Preparation of existing and new surfaces for exterior
applications of Nationwide Chemical Coatings.

1.2 SUBMITTALS

The following submittals will be required of all construction materials and systems:

1. List of proposed recommended materials related to job specific conditions.

2. Technical literature and catalogue data for all products along with manufacturer’s
application instructions and published warranty.

3. All purposed coating materials are subject to architectural approval.

4. The Certified applicator reserves the right to request any new building materials
that is to be installed or applied prior to coating applications; requested said
submittals are to include: manufactures name, address, material, testing data
and installation/ application specifications.

5. A proposed schedule will be provided to owner/ owner’s representative.

6. Applicators proposed means of egress and pedestrian protection, if required.

7. Color samples submittals will be provided on 8.5”x 11” in size for approval.
Submitted samples will reflect the proposed materials. An authorized signature
indicating the materials have been reviewed and accepted is required.

8. Certified Applicator will provide periodic mil samples to the manufacture for
approval.

9. If the jurisdiction issuing building permits require that the Work is subject to a
waste diversion program and the expense of such program is an additional cost
to Owner, Contractor shall provide the required disposal forms and receipts.
