3. RULES AT WORK
3.7 Security
For everyone’s safety and peace of mind, where appropriate, you should display location passes and identity badges at all times, and present them for inspection when requested to do so by a security guard, line manager or member of a clients staff. Failure to observe a location or client’s security procedure could result in you being prevented from attending work and in some circumstances may result in disciplinary action.
If you are entrusted with any keys, codes or security information, these should be kept confidential and secure. Any loss or damage to such items should be immediately reported to your duty line manager.
3.8 Colleague Searches
In the interests of safety and security, it may be necessary from time to time, for a line manager or member of our client’s personnel to conduct searches of your lockers, bags, vehicles and personal belongings, on either entering or leaving the building.
Thomas Franks reserves the right to conduct searches, without notice at any time. On such occasions you will be expected to willingly co-operate with these procedures, although you may elect to have a fellow colleague with you if you wish. Failure to allow any such search will be treated as a serious disciplinary matter.
3.9 Outside Interests / Personal Gain
Honesty is at the heart of the Thomas Franks culture, it is not permitted therefore for any colleague to make any personal profit from the Company’s business, or receive any gift or benefit from any person or organisation supplying goods to, or dealing with, the Company. No person employed by the Company may engage or have an interest in any other business or occupation without the written consent of the Thomas Franks Directors.
No Thomas Franks’ or client premises are to be used to service an alternative commercial operation for personal gain, without the express permission of both the Company and the client.
