   10. ONGOING EMPLOYMENT
10.1 Communication
The most effective form of communication is usually face to face. For this reason most company communication will be via your line manager on a day- to-day basis.
i. Weekly/Periodic Location Meetings
Thomas Franks also expect your team to put aside some time each week for a brief communication meeting and every 6 weeks for a formal communication meeting where you can discuss the company and location’s business, make suggestions or raise concerns or comments and keep a note of the issues discussed. As a vital part of the Thomas Franks team, your involvement and contribution to these meetings will be invaluable. It is also your opportunity to make suggestions to the company for the benefit of the group.
ii. Newsletter
On a regular basis, each team member will receive a communication newsletter from Thomas Franks to keep you up-to-date with how the company is progressing and any other interesting or important information. A copy of any such communication will also be displayed on your location communication board.
iii . Information & Consultation
From time to time, Thomas Franks will undergo a consultation process with you on proposed organisational changes or other issues which may affect you. For more information, please refer to the Company Information and Consultation Handbook. You will usually be communicated with via your direct line manager and may be invited to nominate a spokeswoman or representative to put forward the views of your working group.
