Security / SAFE Inspection

3 Section/Location: 113 Time: 2:00PM
Question
The section had many Cleveland Browns fans. They were quite excited about their team winning and were a little distracting. One Lion fan was attempting to get
them to quiet down and when it started to get a little heated, the Lions fan's guest that was with them, convinced him to leave their seats for a little while. When he
came back he was much calmer. I was please to see the friend helping in this situation.
4 Section/Location: Gate A - smoking section Time: 2:21PM
Many fans were heading towards the smoking section near Gate A. There was a SAFE member present at the door and then another on the smoking deck. Everyone
was smoking away. It was smoky on the deck. Fans were scattered on the deck, talking to their friends, looking on their phones or just standing. Everyone was
orderly. When three men stopped to smoke at the bottom of the steps the SAFE member told them they needed to go up the stairs. They complied and went up
the stairs. Some people use the smoking receptacles but most put there cigarettes on the ground. Ms. Shopper did not see anyone cleaning up.

1 Section/Location: Pride Plaza Entrance from Gate B Staff Name: Derrick Time: 10:28AM
Ms. Shopper entered Pride Plaza near the Gate B entrance. Derrick was standing outside the entrance. There was no expression from him. In the other games that
Ms. Shopper attended, the SAFE members have greeted the fans as they entered the Pride Plaza area, by stating, "welcome to Ford Field." These little words are
very inviting and make you feel like a valued customer.

2 Section/Location: Pride Plaza near Pepsi game Time: 10:40AM
While waiting for the game where you dive into the foam squares catching the football, the Security staff (a slender, somewhat older, African American man) (see
photo below) noticed a woman smoking at one of the tall tables. Seeing this, he walked over to the couple and told them it was a non smoking area. They then
walked toward Gate A. In this instance, she did not put out her cigarette, she continued to walk towards the Elwood Bar with her cigarette lit.

3 Section/Location: Pride Plaza near Pepsi game Staff Name: Cheryl & Tori Time: 10:44AM
Ms. Shopper noticed a pretty long line of people at Gate A waiting to get into the stadium. Ms. Shopper asked Cheryl and Tori what time the stadium opened.
Cheryl look at her itinerary and showed Ms. Shopper the doors would open at 11:00AM. Both ladies were very friendly and kind.
