OBJECTIVE:
Policy 111: One-on-One Contact Policy
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale may provide transportation
home after Club programming. It is the responsibility of the driver to
ensure they do not violate the prohibition of one-on-one contact policy.
This required coordination, cooperation, and planning on behalf of the
Club.

PROCEDURAL STEPS:
All members riding Club transportation must have a current
Transportation Permission Slip on file. On the day of each trip, the driver
must capture the names (attendance) of every youth to be transported on
vehicle. The roster must include the date, name of driver, name of riders
(including other adults). When dropping off riders, it is the responsibility of
the driver to use a route that DOES NOT leave the adult driver in the
BGCS vehicle with a single (non-related) youth therefore creating one-on-
one contact. The route must be designed in such a way that there is
always one other person present when a youth is on the vehicle. In the
event that youth drop off does not allow more than one youth be present,
a second staff member MUST ride along to avoid one-on-one contact. At
the end of the route, the roster must be filed in Club Transportation
records.
