Supervision at Specialty Programming Meeting (sports, field trip,
 conference)

Policy 111: One-on-One Contact Policy,
      OBJECTIVE:
Policy 408: Member Supervision at offsite sports practices
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale provides offsite programming
 such as sports practices, field trips, and youth conferences. The
 prohibition of one-on-one contact with Club members must be adhered to
 and includes all approved adults volunteering on behalf of the Club. For
 this reason, advance planning is needed to ensure policy violation does
 not occur.
   RESPONSIBLE PARTY:

Athletic Director, YDS, TDS, Branch Director
  All approved volunteers must be made aware of the one-on-one contact
 policy prior to hosting their first meeting with members.
 Attendance Rosters:
 Volunteers are required to take attendance at every meeting of the
 team/group. This attendance includes all adults present during the
 meeting. The rosters must be kept during the entire season. At the end of
 each season, the attendance rosters should be collected by the Branch
 Athletic Director and filed at the close of the season. Rosters include both
 practice and game day attendance forms.
 Adult Supervision:
 There must always be three people present with non-related adults. This
 may be two adults and one member or two members and one adult. One-
 on-one adult/member contact is prohibited and is in violation of the policy.
 Volunteers are responsible for advance planning to ensure they are not
 left alone with a member, even when waiting for parent/guardian pick up
 after practices. Another adult/youth must remain present.
