Retirement Benefits
401(K) Retirement Plan
After one year of employment, you may be eligible for our 401k program. For
information, please contact Human Resources. Cliff’s will match your contribution up
to 4% of your compensation.
You may obtain a copy of the Summary Plan Description which contains the details of
the plan including eligibility and benefit provisions from Human Resources.

Separation from CLIFF’S AMUSEMENT PARK
Resignation or Discharge
Cliff’s Amusement Park is an at-will employer. This means that regardless of any
provision in this employee handbook, either an employee or the company may
terminate the employment relationship at any time, for any reason, with or without cause
or notice.
Although not required, we ask that employees provide two (2) weeks notice of
resignation.
In the case of a Cliff’s Amusement Park termination, you will be paid as specified by law.
You will be notified of any elective benefits that may be continued along with their terms,
conditions, and limitations.
On the last day of employment, you must return keys, badges, records, credit cards and
any other property belonging to the Cliff’s Amusement Park. If you fail to return required
items to Cliff’s their value may be deducted from your final paycheck.
Health Insurance COBRA
In the event of your termination of employment with Cliff’s Amusement Park, or other
loss of eligibility to remain covered under our health insurance program, you and your
eligible dependents may have the right to continue coverage under our health insurance
program for a limited period of time at your expense. If eligible, you will be contacted by
our health insurance provider.
