Team Member Communication & Important Info

        Attendance and Punctuality
Excessive absenteeism and tardiness hinders the Company’s ability to serve our Guests. All Team Members
must be ready to work by the beginning of their scheduled workday and must be reasonably complete all
assigned tasks. Team Members are expected to work their scheduled hours and arrive ON TIME. If you will be
absent or tardy, you must notify your manager in advance, with as much notice as possible.
If a Team Member is out for an extended period of time due to a health issue, they will be required to provide
Management with an authorization from a doctor authorizing their return to work. Failure to communicate any
absence and failure to return from a non-communicated absence, beyond three (3) days will be considered a
voluntary resignation due to job abandonment.

        Rider Misconduct
As a Team Member, you are expected to follow any and all rules on rides. You will be terminated for
defeating a safety restraint or putting yourself in immediate danger. In addition, you may be banned for
entering Cliff’s Amusement Park property. REMEMBER you are still a Cliff’s Team Member representing the
Company so it is very important that you remain professional on or off the clock while here at the park. You
should avoid cursing, public display of affection (PDA), etc.

        Romantic Relations
Team Members may NOT report to a family member or someone whom they are dating. If a Team Member is
dating or is related to another Team Member, they must disclose it to Management. We will also move team
members to a different department. Public Displays of Affection are NOT permitted during work or while in
uniform while they are clocked in.

        Emails
Employees need to ensure that they provide an accurate email to supervisors, management and HR. Here at
Cliff’s Amusement Park, we use emails as our sole base of communication. You will be emailed about
schedules, updates, promotions, employee parties etc. It is the sole responsibility and MANDATORY of the
employee to contact and respond to their management team and supervisors and confirm that they have
received important emails or confirm attendance at an employee party. Tip: It is good to get in a habit of
checking your emails daily in case a supervisor/manager or HR needs to contact you as soon as possible.

        Team Member Work Schedules
Most areas are required to arrive at work ½ an hour prior to opening and may not be dismissed until ½ to 1 hour
after closing. This may be 20-<40 hours a week, depending on the time of the season. Team Members ARE
EXPECTED to work weekends and Holidays, unless otherwise approved by management.

        Requesting Time Off
Team Members will be required to submit time off requests by emailing your supervisor which is your specific
department email. We REQUIRE at least two weeks advance notice if you need time off (vacations, proms,
graduations, etc.). Verbal requests will NOT be granted. Submitted a request does NOT guarantee that your
        time off will be approved.
            ● ALL Holidays are MANDATORY to work for Team Members. This is a stipulation of your job.
            ● Resignation / Two Week Notices
If you would like to be eligible for rehire, (this is not a guarantee) you must submit a written two week notice to
        DJ.
            ● In order to receive your W-2 tax statement, make sure we have your current mailing address, especially
if you have moved after you applied for work.
            ● ID/Time Card privileges (food discounts and ability to ride free) will be revoked after your last day of
               employment.
