OUTREACH & PARTNERSHIPS

            OUTREACH

A key strategy identified in CERI's Business Plan is the targeted

communication with and outreach to seven unique market segments
(Government, Industry, Indigenous People and Organizations, Academia,
            Regulators, Non-Government Organizations and Media).

CERI continues to strengthen key relationships with local, provincial and

federal government as well as with identified Partners and energy sector
influencers. CERI meets with its network across Canada on a regular basis to

provide presentations, attend meetings and conferences and act as subject
matter experts at a variety of events and appearances.

            PARTNERSHIPS

One of CERI’s concerns with the state of the economic and environmental

analysis in Canada is the “Fragmentation of Effort.” There are too many
researchers, chasing too many issues with too little access to funding. One of

the ways CERI is working to overcome that challenge is through partnerships
with stakeholders across the country. We reach out to governments,

companies, research institutes, media and associations to find like-minded
organizations interested in working on neutral and objective analysis on
issues impacting the energy systems of Canada, its provinces and territories.

We are pleased with the partnerships we have developed to date and
continue to aspire to gather more. Our goal is to develop a national network

of collaborators who bring unique perspectives on our energy systems and
low carbon transition challenges. We want to ensure our research is of high
quality, comprehensive and objective such that decision makers in all

stakeholder communities can be confident that when CERI produces a report,
the information is reliable and relevant.
