Long time ago, there lived an old crocodile in Athi River. The crocodile’s teeth were lose. One day, he was hungry and went hunting. He saw a zebra nearby and sneaked near it and bit the leg and pulled it in the river. While he was eating, he bit the spine of the zebra and his tooth came out. He swam away and rested. After a while, he became hungry and he lived like that for 3 months without food. He finally died.
THE OLD CROCODILE Nathan Wambua, 9
Zama za kale, paliishi mamba mzee kwenye mto wa Athi. Mamba huyu meno yake hayakuwa yenye nguvu. Siku moja, alihisi njaa kisha akaenda kuwinda. Alimuona punda milia karibu na akanyemelea na kumuuma mguuni, kisha akamvuta ndani ya mto. Alipokuwa anakula, aliuma uti wa mgongo wa punda milia, na jino lake likang’oka. Akaogelea akaenda kupumzika. Baada ya mad, akaskia njaa na akaishi hivyo kwa meizi mitatu bila chakula. Hatimaye akafariki.
