empowers us to minister to another with

compassion, understanding, unwavering truth and
the love of JESUS, thereby reconciling one with
another.

2. Substitution. Verse 21: GOD made HIM who had no

sin to be sinfor us, so that in HIM we might become
the righteousness of GOD. There is a price for sin

which must be paid. That price is death and eternal
separation from GOD. In GOD’s economy, satisfaction

of that debt can only be achieved through a spotless,
sinless sacrifice. Our LORD JESUS was that sacrifice!

HE was our substitute and paid our debt by HIS
death. HE conquered death by HIS resurrection. As
our substitute, HE freed us from the penalty of sin,

thus qualifying us for the Ministry of Reconciliation.

Reconciliation in Action: The JESUS Example
There are those that embrace a colorblindness
philosophy in an effort to advance unity. But is this

approach in accordance with GODLY precepts? The
answer is no. Colorblindness is not in accordance with

GOD’s Creation. HE is The GOD of Diversity. Do not
ignore the beauty of different skin tones and diverse

ethnicities. Acknowledge them, celebrate them, but do
not let them be a cause for stumbling.
