produce limited results, and thus are found wanting in
the final analysis.
The Root Causes of “racial” strife are two-fold. First,
they are based on a false pretense. Therefore, the logical
deduction is that all of its derivative issues and
perceptions are at best questionable. At worst they are
deceptive, and although they exist in fact, they are void
of truth.
Second, and most importantly, these problems are in
truth heart issues that are significant sin problems. Thus,
the true root causes are Spiritual in nature and therefore
can only be remedied by Spiritual solutions. Micah 6:8
(NKJV): And what does the Lord require of you? . . . to do
justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your GOD.
Consequently, these true root causes require a different
approach, a different way to think, speak, and a
different solution set.
– The Spiritual Approach
As we discussed in Chapter 11, Spiritual problems
require Spiritual solutions that are aimed at the root
causes. These solution sets should contain practical
steps, but ultimately deal with sin and heart issues.
These are designed to transform the heart. This is the
