If asterisks are used to indicate footnotes, there should be one (1) space should be between the asterisk and the footnote
verbiage.
If numbers are being used to indicate footnotes, the numbers should be superscript and there should be one (1) space
between the footnote number and the footnote verbiage.
SEPARATOR LINE
If a separator line is helpful to highlight different sections of a document, it should be solid black with a line height of 0.4.
