Numbers
Cells with general numbers (i.e., not currency/dollar amounts) should be formatted as follows:
• Category: Number
• Column Alignment: Right (formatting the cell as number will by default right align the number)
• Decimal Places: Varies, depending on what is being shown
• 1,000 Separator: Checked if the number is a numerical value (vs. not checked if for a text string that looks like a number,
such as an order number like “12598”)
• Negative Numbers: Either parentheses or a negative sign are appropriate (depending on what is being displayed),
generally with a font color of black
