        HIGHLIGHTING SCREENSHOT IMAGE ELEMENTS
Red boxes and arrows should be used on screenshot images to highlight elements of the image as appropriate (e.g., if a user
needs to click on a particular field, highlight that field with a red text box on the screenshot image). Boxes and arrows should
have the following line width and color attributes: (FT Body 10.5)

           • Line Width = 1.5 pt (FT Bullet Level 1 – for all)
           • Line Color = #FF0000

If a screenshot image requires a red box and/or an arrow, Microsoft Publisher is one tool that makes it relatively easy to place
the screenshot image (from a snippet or other source), add the red boxes/arrows, group all items together, and create a single
image file of all elements to insert into your Word document. (FT Body 10.5)

To prepare images in Microsoft Publisher (e.g., adding red boxes to a screenshot), follow these steps:

         1. Paste your image (e.g., screenshot you captured with Snipping Tool) onto a new page in Publisher.

         2. From the Insert tab, select Shapes and add a rectangle.

         3. Format the shape (right-click, Format Autoshape) and change the Fill Color to No Color.

         4. Change the Line Color to be the width and color noted above.

         5. Click OK to save your changes.

         6. Click on the screenshot image you pasted in step 1 above and from the Home tab select Send Backward > Send To
               Back.

         7. If you need more than one box on the screenshot, copy and paste the box you already formatted in step 2 above and
               resize and place as necessary.

         8. Once you have completed the screenshot as you want it to appear in your document, from the Home tab click Select
All Objects and then click Group.
