If you place your cursor in a paragraph, the style is applied to the whole paragraph when you select the
style (i.e., you do not have to select the entire paragraph). If you select specific text, only the selected
text is formatted (e.g., for the Finance team documents, examples would be emphasized text or hyperlink
text). If you do not see the style you want to apply, click the More button to expand the Styles gallery.
SAVING REFERENCE GUIDE DOCUMENTS (FT Heading)
7BReference guide documents are saved to Finance Team M365 shared Documents folder and in the Reference Guide Project >
Guides and Job Aids folder: (FT Body 10.5)
• 26BDocuments for external audiences (to the Finance team) are stored in the Division folder. (FT Bullet Level 1 – for all)
• 27BDocuments internal to the Finance team are stored in the Internal Finance Team folder.

CREATING A NEW REFERENCE GUIDE DOCUMENT COVER
SHEET (FT Title)
9BTo start a new reference guide document or job aid cover: (FT Body 10.5)
1. 39BIn Word, select File > New. (FT List Numbered – for all)

2. 40BSelect Personal templates (the default will be Office templates).
3. 41BSelect the FT Ref Guide Cover template to start a new cover document.
