                       You only need to perform this process one time on your laptop.


        COPYING TEMPLATES FILES TO YOUR LAPTOP (FT Heading)

        10BWhen creating a new Word document, Word allows you to select from template files which are contained in your Personal
        templates folder. Word template files are stored on your laptop hard drive in your Documents folder in a subfolder named
        Custom Office Templates. (FT Body 10.5)

        11BTo use the Word template files created for the Finance team reference guide, you must first copy the template files to your
        laptop’s hard drive using the following steps: (FT Body 10.5)

         1.    44BNavigate to the Finance Team M365 shared Documents folder and then to the Reference Guide Project > Templates >
               Word templates file folder. 3(FT List Numbered – for all)

         2.    45BSelect and right-click on both file names (FT Ref Guide Cover.dotx and FT Ref Guide Master.dotx)

         3.    46BNavigate to your laptop’s Documents folder. If a folder does not already exist named Custom Office Templates inside
               Documents, create that folder. Otherwise, go to the Custom Office Templates folder and paste the files you copied in
               step 2 above.
