Section 4 – Serious Vehicle Incident Procedure – Legal Assistance
Should a serious roadside incident occur HSS have in place a serious incident procedure. The purpose is to provide the
HSS colleague with expert roadside legal assistance in the immediate aftermath of the incident.
What is a serious incident?
The main indicators are that someone has sustained an injury as a result of the incident, requires medical attention
and that the police have been called or are at the scene.
If you are unsure of whether an incident is serious then please seek guidance from your Sales Director, Regional
Operations Manager, or call the Fleet team on 0161 888 4850.
