Father-Daughter Breakfast

Our Fathers are our protectors. When we need their wisdom they always
seem to give us the best insight. Every year Carrollton celebrates fathers.
On Valentine’s Day the High School students honored them with a special
celebration. The presentation opened with a prayer and led into the game,
“Can You Guess That Song” during which the daughters and their fathers
competed together. The juniors and their fathers came in first place. After the
game, tile Drama Class presented a scene from “Plaza Suite” by Neil Simon
which starred Amanda Codina, ’02 and Liza Lamar, ’02. After the amusing
play, Sister Cooke gave a memorable talk about her relationship with her
father. The morning ended with a continental breakfast outside by the Palm
Court. A wonderful way to start Valentine’s Day!
