Clockwise from upper left: Fifth Grade students visited
the Ft. Lauderdale Museum of Discovery and Science;
Women's Week was celebrated by Fifth Graders dressing
up and making presentations on notable women;
Catherine Farmer gave a presentation about women's
rights in Rwanda; the Sixth Grade went on a field trip
to Vizcaya; Intermediate students visited the Book Fair;
Sixth Grade students in the Spanish program participated
in the Dade County Youth Fair's poetry competition and
received awards as follows: 3rd place recognition went to
Laura Armato, Diana Correa, Gabriela Delgado, Nadya
Ganem, Serena Hill, Olivia Jimenez, Linda Luaces. 2nd
place recognition went to Cecilia de Armas, Elizabeth
Cordoves, Rafaella Espfn, Madeline Fine, Sabrina Souza.
1st place recognition went to Cristina Amore, Samantha
Borden, Daniela Dfaz-Sierra, Allegra Gonzalez-Abreu,
Nicole Mayo, Sofia Sosa, Francesca Tomas, and Francesca
Vizoso.
