Clockwise from top left: During Arts and Science Week,
Tenth. Grade students Tessa Danguillecourt, Nina Campo,
Fabiola Urdaneta, Lauren Rangel, Isabella Borgonova, Kristina
Fernandez, Mary Spiegel, Alexandra Alvarez, Katerina Allen
and Victoria Sabater made a periodic table out of cupcakes
and gave the cupcakes to those who could name the element
indicated on the frosting; Pamela Zedan and Andrea Rabassa
received letters of commendation from the National Merit
Scholarship Corporation based on their performance on the
2008 PSAT; Christine Nunez, Megan Nardo, Gabriela Granda,
Megan Rickborn, Helena Buitrago, Mariaestela Somarriba,
Ananda Wisznat, Stephanie Rey, Ana Zelaya and Adrian
Castro, with the help of Alan Crockwell, competed in the
annual University of Miami's Build It challenge and placed
third; Art students Danielle Coloma, Carlotta de Caralt, and
Natalia Juncadella had artwork selected for the Scholastic Art
Exhibition; and Chloe Burke, Olivia Cartaya, and Courtney
Dowell-Esquivel were selected for these year's DAANS.
