Junior High
The Fairchild Challenge was fun, a great way to learn about the environment, and build community. Moreover,
in interacting with students and others in greater Miami-Dade, it allowed us to enhance our knowledge of the
place we call home while gaining appreciation for other schools and their approaches to solving environmental
problems. The Challenge provided healthy competition, great personal satisfaction, and a way for Carrollton to
become greener and more involved in the greater community. - Junior High School Ecology Club
With a final score of 2153 points, the Junior High was awarded the Fairchild Challenge Silver Award. The Seventh
