We Have Spirit, Yes We Do, We
From Monday. .. . Sophomore Andreya Silva held on to the ball! Senior Cristina Lago prepared fo r the mob!
From November 13-17, 2000, the High School Congress hosted the annual Spirit Week. The week
consisted of students dressing to different themes each day and ended with Field Day. On Movie
Monday, students dressed up like characters from famous movies. Seniors brought out legwarmers
and ripped sweaters, imitating “Flashdance.” The disco fever went to the juniors, who came to
school as Tony from “Saturday Night Fever.” The “clueless” crowd was made up of sophomores
assigned to dress up like Alicia Silverstone and friends from “Clueless.” Rizos, Sandies, and Danies
were spotted around the High School, as freshmen dressed up like Pink Ladies and T-Birds to
