Clinical neurodiversity: ADHD
ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder,
although not everyone has the hyperactivity part.
It is a complex brain disorder that impacts approximately
5% of all adults.
Common ADHD traits include:
❖ inattention
❖ lack of focus
❖ poor time management
❖ weak impulse control
❖ exaggerated emotions
❖ hyperfocus
❖ hyperactivity
❖ executive dysfunction
