AFFECT
One way to notice your threat brain turning on is to
get good at noticing changes in your body and your
feelings.
The fancy word for these feelings is our ‘affect’.

➢ Notice what happens to your body when you feel
great.
➢ Notice what happens when you don’t feel so great –
what is the feeling? Hot? Stomach tightening?
