The Cirencester payments did not start until 4 May 2016 and totalled £22,023 to the
th
time the lump sum payments arrived in September 2016. In the meantime, he had sold
some of his easyJet shares, made transfers from his deposit account(s) received income
from accounts such as Fin AS Tilbake (£9,052.52) and other banks such as Monzo and
and Zopa (£10,000). There are also transactions with 16574702, 63144840, 600717,

accounts.
There was never any risk that Mr Solheim would be declared bankrupt, evicted from
Nutley Place (in which he had no ownership interest), or denied access to his children.
You need to be wary about too much correspondence with him - his records will be
disclosable in the case and he is right to identify the litigation as stressor as ifs outside
your control, and ifs a slow court process which causes stress and anxiety. The
Defendant will reduce that to litigation neurosis, in other words, the Defendant will
say that your client is OK and the only reason they are not back to work is stress and
anxiety caused by the litigation. They will say that once it is over, you will be able to
go back to work. The Defendant will use this to reduce your damages----
TJD We are not advising you about that [the insurance]. It will have its own rules. I know
there are subrogation rights, because we had to think carefully about how to respond
to their requests. I am not sure of terms of those rights. The insurance company can
reserve the right to use your name to recover their losses from Defendant - in other
words, "we have to pay you, so we use your name to sue to driver to reimburse us".
SS They said to me they will pay me for now, gut if I were to get any compensation for
losses in future from a third party they have a claim on them. They will go after me.
TJD That is the other way it works - you have to give credit. CX)
