You should not travel if you have been tested positive for COVID-19 and are in a self-isolation period.
You may travel only after the required isolation time period has expired per CDC Guidance.

You should not travel if you have had COVID-19 symptoms or sickness 7 days prior to departure of the Business
travel to a Footprint Facility.
PRE-BUSINESS TRAVEL PREPARATIONS
If your self-wellness assessment permits you to travel, consider the following actions to prepare for Business Travel
to a Footprint Facility:
• Review CDC Guidance regarding travel as it may have been updated since your last review:

• Be aware of and follow any state and local travel restrictions of your home state and the state where the
Footprint Facility is located.
• (For travel to Mexico) Request Essential Business Travel Letter to cross U.S. – Mexico Border.
• An Essential Business Travel Letter may be required by Hotels, for all Footprint locations. Please confirm if
a letter is required when making the hotel reservation. Employees will be required to request letter through
Human Resources.
• Footprint employees should make their hotel reservations in advance and confirm the hotel’s COVID-19
safety protocols.
• Determine whether contactless check-in, mobile room keys, and contactless payment are available for your
housing accommodations and make preparations accordingly.
• Human Resources will e-mail an Employee Acknowledgement to the Footprint Employee. The
Acknowledgment will outline the risks and responsibilities when traveling to a Footprint Facility, and
agreement to abide by the Travel Protocols.
• The locally assigned Footprint Human Resources representative will prepare and deliver communication to
their Footprint Facility of your upcoming visit and provide employees notification with this planned arrival of
a Footprint employee(s).
• Footprint employees are encouraged to confirm Health Care coverage in Mexico and/or the visiting U.S.
State.
• It is recommended the employee review in advance of travel the local health care facilities where employee
can receive covered care in the event the employee becomes sick or experiences COVID-19 symptoms.
• Employees may contact Human Resources for additional information or assistance.
• Pack a sufficient amount of change in clothing, personal items and medications required during the Business
Travel. With regard to medications, it is advisable to carry extra supply of medications.
• You are welcome to bring your own supplies (e.g., additional masks, oximeter).
Before traveling, the Footprint employee must secure the necessary mask supplies and hand sanitizer (“Protective
Supplies”). Most, if not all, airlines, hotels, U.S. local businesses and Mexico, require a face mask.
