DAY OF TRAVEL
On the day of travel, at the airport (if applicable), and during any travel to/from the airport to/from your hotel
accommodations or the Footprint Facility, whatever mode of transportation you may use, protect yourself and others
during your trip:
• The Footprint Employee or Vendor must practice safe physical distance when traveling by car, truck,
van, or plane. There is a limit to the number of persons within a vehicle. Please review in advance to
determine the number of vehicles required to accommodate the number of Footprint employees
traveling.
• The Footprint Employee and Vendor will be asked to practice the Center for Disease Control (CDC)
recommended COVID-19 safe travel practices as well as other best practices:
• Clean your hands often.
• Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after you have been in a public
place, after touching surfaces frequently touched by others, after blowing your nose, coughing, or
sneezing, and before touching your face or eating.
• If soap and water are not available, bring and use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub your hands together until they feel dry.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth.
• Avoid “close contact” (within 6 feet for more than 15 minutes) with others.
• Keep 6 feet of physical distance from others (“physical distance”).
• Always wear a face covering (disposable or cloth face mask, shield) in public spaces.
• Cover coughs and sneezes.
• Limit your exposure by picking up food at drive-thru, curbside restaurant service, or stores.
• Whenever you are unable to physically-distance, such as on an airplane or while ridesharing, limit talking
to avoid the potential for unnecessary spreading of individual’s droplets.
• Any meals during a period of ridesharing should be eaten outside of the vehicle while physically
distanced.
• If you need to pump gas for a rented vehicle, wear the disposable gloves provided by Footprint, and
dispose the gloves in a lined trash can immediately after use and before re-entering the vehicle. CDC
Guidance does not recommend disinfecting or re-using gloves.
