He suggests the adoption of one school by each local institution,Admittedly surprised by the cooperative spirit in the school district, the West Coast educator says that an anti-administration tone is predomonates in L.A. But as he says, L.A. is about 8-10 years behind Brooklyn. %u201cParents are not as involved in councils, don%u2019t make any hard decisions (except for Title 1 arrangements); they don%u2019t choose principals; and wouldn%u2019t have been involved in the selection of a superintendent, he says. The possibility of trying to put into practice theories he espoused for almost a decade is what particularly attracted him to New York, Harris explains. And now he will try to put this into action. He will see, as he says, whether he can really share power.Though the decentralization arrangement is still imperfect, with many policies and rules still centrally dictated from Livingston St. and with information still bung given to the press before it is divulged to the districts, Harris still believes in decentralization%u2019s possibilities%u2014in the challenge. Community involvement makes a difference, he asserts, and what happens in our local schools will prove it.Thw work, by Tim Rice and Andrew Webber, authors of %u201cJesus Christ Super Star%u201d , is a contemporary cantata with a rock beat, and will be performed with guitar, piano and organ accompaniment.%u201c Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor D ream coat%u201d antedates the tremendously popular %u201cJesus Christ Super Star%u201d and was the first collaboration of authors Tim Rice and Andrew Webber. Find a man to lead you through the famine with a flair for economic planning. . .Seven summers on the trot were perfect, just as Joseph said Joseph saw that food was gathered ready for the years ahead.
