N A DDRUG ARREST: Rafael Santos, 25, of Baltic Street, was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after nniipp received 2 csll 3bout 3 nossib!n dni%u00a3? sale. P.O. Maielleo from the 78th Precinct made the arrest on Oct. 17 at 9:30pm.IMPERSONATES GUARD: Guillermo Torrez, 23, of Baltic Street was arrested on Oct. 13 at 8pm for displaying a security guard shield to a guard in a building at Fourth Ave. and Baltic St. When the shield was checked, it was found that Guillermo had been unemployed for a year. He was charged with criminal impersonation.BANK VAN ROBBERY: On October 15 at 12:15pm, the driver of a Citibank courier van was accosted by three men on Myrtle Ave. near Clinton Ave., where he was making a pick up. The three entered the van, forced the driver into the back, beat him up and tied him up, and drove the van away. Sgt. Roland Klink and P.O. Antonio Cruise of the 88th Precinct were stopped by passerby and told that the van had sideswiped a parked car on Emerson PI., and the officers pursued the van in their car. The thieves jumped out of the vehicle and fled on foot, and got in a second vehicle and tried to hide. Klick and Cruise caught them. The two people already in the car were held as accomplices, and all five were charged with first degree robbery. One of the robbers, Kim Coleman, 31, of W. 23rd St., was a former employee of the courier service and was recently fired, an 88th Precinct officer said.RAPE AND ROBBERY: A 27-year-old woman was grabbed from behind and dragged into an abandoned building at 59 S. Elliot PI. at 12:35pm on Oct. 11. Her assailant, described by police as male, black, 30 years old, 5%u2019 7%u201d, 155 pounds, with medium length hair, a moustache and beard, raped her and robbed her of $30. He threatened to kill her if she screamed. He then fled down S. Elliot PI. towards Atlantic Ave. The woman was treated at Brooklyn Hospital.ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: A 27-year-old man was approached by an unidentified male at DeKalb Ave. and Ft. Greene PL, at 10pm on Oct. 10, who asked him the time. He then pulled a small handgun from his waist, and was joined by two others. Their intended victim ran up DeKalb Ave., and heard as he ran, %u201cDon%u2019t run or I%u2019ll shoot!\stop, the three fled into Fort Greene Park. 88th Precinct Officer Corbett saw the man running, and when told what had happened started a search of the area. He arrested a 14-year-old identified by the man as one of the muggers.ENTERED PREMISES: A 17-year-old man was robbed after a man entered the premises where he worked at 96A HenryStreet on October 12 at 5:10pm and threatened him with a gun. He threw her to the ground causing her to hit her head on the street and then continued to try and get her pocketbook, choking the woman with her shirt. Roger Edward, 23, of 160th Street, Ozone Park, was later arrested by Transit Policeman Fanning.GUARD STEALS: A security guard was caught stealing property from a store at 169 Montague Street on October 12 at 6:15pm. When the manager confronted him, the man punched him and fled the store, dropping his cap and some of the cosmetics he had taken. He fled with $108 in goods.HALLWAY ROBBERY: A 40-year-old man standing in the hallway at 371 State Street on October 13 at 12:30am was robbed by a man who came up behind him and placed him in a headlock. The man removed his property and fled with a watch valued at $200.STORE ROBBERY: A man entered a store at 60 Henry Street on October 13 at 8:10pm and after walking around the store, jumped over the counter, displayed a knife and demanded money. The man searched the pockets of the person behind the counter, and subsequently found a bag containing coins and bills. He fled toward Cadman Plaza West with what police reports say was $1400.Five Jail Guards SaidTo Be Dealing CocaineFive jail guards at the Brooklyn House of Detention for Men on Atlantic Avenue have been charged with possession and sale of cocaine in a plan to sell the drug to prisoners in the detention center. The five officers, all from Brooklyn, are: Nelson Bonnilla, 35; Armando Casanova, 25; Kendall Harrison, 24; Roy Kruckeberg, 32; and Raymond Rodriguez, 28. All five have been correction officerskfor less than four years.Rodriguez is charged with selling to an undercover officer; Bonnilla and Casanova sold an eighth of an ounce last spring; Harrison sold an eighth of an ounce June 25; Kruckeberg sold a similar amount on July 16 and a half ounce on July 18.All the officers are charged with official misconduct. A sixth suspect is the girlfriend of Kruckeberg, Teresa Marano, 29, also of Brooklyn.
