l Memorial Hall: A hall where memorial tablets of the fallen are enshrined. Visitors can
offer flowers and pay their respects.
l Patriot’s Section: The burial site for independence activists who devoted themselves to
the cause of Korea’s independence.
l Military and Police Sections: Burial sites for military personnel, police officers, and
others who sacrificed their lives for the country.
l 현충원(Seoul National Cemetery)은 대한민국 서울특별시 동작구 동작동에 위치한 국가공인 묘지입니다. 이곳은
대한민국의 독립과 자유를 위해 희생한 군인, 경찰관, 애국지사, 그리고 국가 유공자들을 기리기 위해 조성되었습니다.
1956년에 개원한 현충원은 국가적 행사와 추모 행사가 열리는 중요한 장소입니다.
l 현충탑: 현충원 내에 위치한 현충탑은 모든 참전 용사들과 순국선열을 기리기 위한 상징적인 탑입니다. 이곳에서 각종 추모
행사가 열립니다.
l 현충문: 현충원의 정문으로, 이곳을 통해 현충원에 입장할 수 있습니다.
l 위패봉안관: 전사자와 순국선열의 위패가 봉안된 장소로, 방문객들이 헌화와 참배를 할 수 있습니다.
l 애국지사 묘역: 독립운동에 헌신한 애국지사들이 안장된 묘역입니다.
l 장병 묘역: 군인과 경찰관 등 국가를 위해 희생한 이들이 안장된 묘역입니다.
