Kyo-An Hwang served as South Korea’s 44th Prime Minister and
the 63rd Minister of Justice. After the impeachment of former
President Park Geun-Hye, he also assumed the role of Acting
President. He was the leader of both the Liberty Korea Party and
the United Future Party. Following the April 15, 2020 general
election, he strongly raised concerns about election fraud and
organized the Election Fraud Prevention Team (Bubangdae) to
systematically investigate the issue. Together with experts, he
has been collecting and analyzing various evidence of election
fraud and actively took legal actions. He has particularly focused
on issues with early voting, vulnerabilities in the electronic
vote counting system, and statistical anomalies in early voting.
Through these efforts, he plays a crucial role in restoring
the transparency and trustworthiness of elections, that are
considered as the foundation of democracy.
