The Ministry will provide technical and legal support to companies across TECOM districts, including fast-tracking
patents, promoting local innovations, and connecting businesses to investment opportunities. This initiative
strengthens the UAE’s goal of converting innovations into market-ready products while advancing a knowledge-
driven economy.

Between January and July 2025, the Ministry recorded 1,221 patents, up from 466 during the same period last year.
It also received 2,430 new patent applications, compared to 1,996 in 2024, reflecting growing awareness of IP
protection as a key driver of economic growth.

Dubai Science Park hosts over 500 customers, including AstraZeneca, BeiGene, and Pfizer, alongside 6,500
professionals in life, energy, and environmental sciences. The district provides Grade-A offices, LEED-certified
laboratories, and storage and logistics facilities. It is part of TECOM Group’s broader portfolio, which includes Dubai
Internet City, Dubai Media City, Dubai Studio City, Dubai Production City, Dubai Knowledge Park, Dubai
International Academic City, Dubai Design District (d3), and Dubai Industrial City.
