The UAE is investing heavily in preparing students for an artificial intelligence-driven future, but it

also faces a more immediate challenge: a shortage of teachers.

Around 1,000 educators have been trained to deliver the country’s new AI curriculum across all
grade levels, the education ministry confirmed. The programme aims to equip students with
technical literacy and a framework for using AI responsibly and ethically in daily life.
