Mohammed Rashed AlSuwaidi, founder of ASATEER, expressed pride in the recognition, attributing
the project’s success to the continuous support of KFED. “This recognition inspires us to strengthen
our presence in the local market and explore new opportunities for growth, including partnerships and
collaborations,” he said. “ASATEER’s products are rooted in Emirati heritage and inspired by the
vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. We are committed to preserving our culture
while embracing sustainable and eco-friendly practices.”
ASATEER’s involvement in key events, including its participation at the 2023 UN Climate Change
Conference (COP28), reflects its dedication to sustainability and innovation within the design industry.
Mouza Al Nasri, Acting CEO of Khalifa Fund, praised the achievement: “ASATEER’s success is a
testament to the strength of the UAE’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Our mission is to support startups
that are not only innovative but also play a vital role in our sustainable economic growth.”
Organized by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, the Make it in the
Emirates Forum and its accompanying awards aim to position the UAE as a global hub for innovation
and advanced manufacturing. The awards highlight the impact of local enterprises in shaping the
future of the nation’s industrial and creative sectors.
