Held under the theme of future leadership in aviation, TIPCAL serves as a strategic dialogue platform to explore
the transformation of the aviation sector amidst rapid technological advancements, climate challenges, and
changing passenger expectations.
Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism and Chairman of the GCAA Board of
Directors, stressed the importance of cultivating innovation and sustainability in the aviation industry as a vital
contributor to the national and global economy.
“Our objective is to drive a culture of agile governance and empower aviation leaders with cutting-edge insights
that can keep pace with industry transformations,” said Al Marri.
Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, highlighted the UAE’s unique position as
a global aviation hub and major aviation fuel producer, stating:
“TIPCAL reaffirms the UAE’s long-term commitment to shaping an aviation ecosystem that is resilient, climate-
conscious, and globally collaborative.”
He added that empowering future leaders and embracing innovation are central to ensuring the aviation
industry’s sustainable growth.
Abdulla Nasser Lootah, Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Knowledge Exchange,
noted that the UAE’s success in civil aviation represents a globally admired model, which the country is eager to
share through platforms like TIPCAL.
Saif Mohamed Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the GCAA, stated that TIPCAL reflects the UAE’s proactive role
in enhancing global aviation leadership.
“This is more than a training programme—it is a global dialogue on the future of aviation governance,” he said.
The agenda includes immersive sessions covering:
UAE’s model in leadership, innovation, and economic development through aviation and tourism.
The role of artificial intelligence, agile governance, and future-readiness in aviation.
Sustainability and climate action as foundational pillars for sectoral growth.
